Up for auction is this extremely rare Seiko Magnetic Pendulum Desk Clock. This clock features a very unique balancing act that is helped out by an unseen magnet! There are three main parts of this Seiko quartz desk clock; the base and 2 gold balancing sticks. Once fitted together (simply lay one onto the other, they fit loosely in order to move), the two long stick pieces will sway at the lightest touch and continue for what seems an eternity. The face of the clock remains upright regardless of how it swings back and forth. The pendulum swings via a combination of alternating magnets keeping the pendulum swinging. Food For Fantasy is German EM musician Robert Schroeder. Born on 20th May 1955 in Aachen, Germany, Robert got his first guitar aged 13. Interests in electronics and engineering aided his musical development as he built his own equipment to experiment with synthesis and create new sounds. In 1970 he ceased playing music for a few years to concentrate on studying and engineering, later to go on to work for Atari and Seiko in 1984. In 1978 he became friends with Klaus Schulze who signed him up to his Innovative Communications label, and the rest is history… Robert is assisted by Phil Molto on guitar. Spirit of freedom is from the cd “The Secret Of Dreaming”. www.myspace.com www.news-music.de
